SOUTHERN
FRANCE
Artist Statement
Southern France feels painted in color. I spent five days traveling alone along the southern coast, and every town I passed through seemed to carry its own palette. Those colors weren’t just “pretty”; they became a kind of identity, the way a place introduces itself before you know its name. The color palette of this page, as well as the whole website, is built from that memory, translating what I saw into a small visual language of my own. Color is one of the most human ways of sensing the world, and in Southern France it felt like people used it deliberately to make home recognizable.
